-----------
This sound piece is a vocal translation of the stock prices of the CAC40. The succession of “bar-chart” on the grids of values, as notes on a stave, forms like a score. This analogy is the graphical interpretation of the movements of the stock prices and the codes of solfeggio have brought this transposition of the stock value and tonal value.
Putting in words the current economic trend, a feminine and masculine voice enounce a text Milton Friedman extract from Capitalism and freedom. The words are repeated in loops in a litany which follows the evolution of the CAC40, as to endorse this text as if it stumbled on the opposition it defends, the divorce of two foundation of democracy: liberty and equality.
Reading in four acts aired on FMR Radio (the 24th of February, 9th and 23th of March, 6th of April) and presented during the exhibition Subruncinator, Espace III – Croix-Baragnon (from the 12th until the 28th of April 2012).
